I am your host, Vy-Shane Sin Fat. I grew up in Mauritius, a beautiful island in the Indian Ocean. I now live in Perth, Western Australia, where I work as the development lead for the AU team at CalorieKing.
I have previously been the development team lead at Bam Creative, where I spent a lot of time thinking about CMS design. For a year, I was also part of the core Moodle development team. Moodle is a hugely popular open source Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
I hold a bachelor degree from Edith Cowan University, where I studied Interactive Multimedia Technologies and Computer Science. These days I mainly work with the LAMP stack.
